John Campbell and I (Chelsea Reeve) met in the Liberty, Missouri Stake about 18 years ago or so. We were both in high school and became quick friends through Stake activities. We hung out a lot and we just grew on each other! John would tease me to no end! I had 5 favorite guys back then that I called my "Five Fav" from the stake, and John Campbell was definitely one of them. I told my mom that I wanted to marry one of them some day. John loved hanging out with me, but didn't like me the way I wished he had. We stayed connected and dated other people through high school. John went on his mission and we wrote. I went to Ricks College and we wrote. I went on my mission and we lost touch. He moved to Utah and when I got back, I moved to Utah, so we got together once. We didn't stay connected while in Utah. John began traveling the world. I lost hope in dating and was persuaded to get online and date. I didn't like that idea and kept pushing it to the side. When I finally got the nerves to date online, I realized I didn't have a way to see if the guys I would be dating would be good honest guys. I decided to start a facebook account so I could at least try to find the potential guys I would date and see what kind of a guy they were. My friends even told me might find my match on facebook. I laughed and thought that was the silliest thing since I had been so against facebook since it came out. Well, 2 days later, John found me on facebook. He was in Mexico at the time, but we chatted back and forth through facebook and a couple months later John came back from Mexico and suggested we go out. I was in school and wasn't that interested at the time, so I didn't go out with John for about a month. We went out for the first time on Saturday, September 22, 2012. The rest is history!!!
Today is Tuesday, September 17, 2013, almost a year from that first date. John and I thought it would be fun to do a blog and print it out every year of our life together. We have done soooo much together this first year of dating. We have loved every minute of it and we are so excited to be able to relive every year through a fun blog with lots of pictures. We LOVE taking pictures, and we are excited to share our lives every year with our future family. This first book will be from September 22, 2012 to December 31, 2013. It will take a while to get caught up to present time, but it is going to be a fun journey to do so! I LOVE you Johni!!!
