And the dating continued...We had soooo much fun dating! We were always doing things together. We would text each other and call each other and we had to talk several times a day. John said he wasn't a phone person, but I would have never had known. He loved to talk to me on the phone. I started getting texts every single morning and they would say, "Good morning beautiful!" A year later, I continue to get those texts, EVERY SINGLE MORNING! This was the stage of getting to know one another. We would just talk about everything. We got to know one another after years of not being with each other. This is also the time in our dating where we kept saying how much we couldn't believe we were together. It was so weird, but so much fun. We had made a decision that we would start dating and give it 100%. If it was going to work, we were going to try. We thought we had nothing to lose, but everything to gain! We were right...so right! We did so much stuff. We were always active. We would go camping, hang out with Ted and Steph and play cards, hang out with John's parents and play cards, go on walks or just spend any time being together.
In the year we have dated, we have only gone to 3 movies. We just LOVE being active! We have had so much fun getting to know one another and some of the things are pretty funny. One time when we were at Ted's house, John made me a rootbeer float. He knows I love small spoons when I eat ice cream, so this was the float he made me! It was AWESOME!!! We have so much fun together and just play off of each other. We definitely have a unique relationship, and we love that about us! John loves visiting my Grandma Emery. He thinks she is so cute, and we enjoy being with her. We went up there one night and took a walk in Memory Grove right there by my Grandma's in the Avenues up in Salt Lake.
It is close to the capital and just a beautiful park. The carriage rides usually will go through Memory Grove. It was just a beautiful night and so peaceful. We walked and talked for a long time until it got too cold, then we came home. We just enjoy our walks together and we find lots of beautiful places during our walks!!!
