Camping up American Fork Canyon

May 17 - 18, 2013...We went camping over the weekend, and it was pretty nice.  I just LOVE being with you!  We went up American Fork Canyon and found just a random spot along the river.  It was

noisy, and just beautiful!  The only thing that I would have changed was the volume of the river.  It was perfect at night, because I LOVED having it as a white noise for me while I was sleeping, but it was hard for us to hear one another just around the campsite throughout the evening and next day.  We only went from Friday to Saturday.  We like our

overnight camping trips.  It gives us time to be with just us and reconnect.  It rained after we got our tent up, and didn’t stop until the next morning when we got up.  It was actually beautiful!  I loved just being with you in the rain and not having anything we needed to do…just be there and talk.  You set up a tarp for us, so we didn’t get wet.  We

slept in until 11:00 and then got up when the rain stopped.  The rest of the day was actually beautiful.  While we were in the tent the night before, we read your patriarchal blessing…then we read mine.  It was cute, because I didn’t say anything, but when I got in the tent, you already had your blessing out, ready to read.  I knew you were excited about it.  It was a beautiful blessing.  You had a lot of thoughts

about it, and you thought it was pretty special.   I read to you my patriarchal blessing.  We talked about our blessings, and it was nice to be able to just talk to you spiritually!  I love that about us…we can talk spiritually!  Thank you for being that for me.  I feel blessed to have you in my life!  I love you!!!
