Floating the Provo River...

August 3, 2013...What a fun day we had.  Bristol invited us to go floating down the Provo River on tubes.  I have never done it before, but have always wanted to.  We invited Skyler and Anna to come
along.  Bristol invited a bunch of her friends from her ward, and then Anna invited her sister.  We all had a BLAST!!!  We met up at the bottom where the bus you to the beginning spot on the river.  They kind of tell you what to watch out for and what parts are more rough and which directions to go around the different little islands.  I don't know if anyone really paid attention to that.  We just hopped in that river and off we went.  I thought we would be sticking
together more, but the current just took you where it wanted to.  Skyler, Anna and her sister was always up front.  You and I were right behind them and then Bristol's group struggled behind us.  They tried to stay attached, but that made them flip their tubes and get stuck and everything.  It was quite funny watching them.  I took my dry bag (that you gave me) so I could take the camera and take lots of pictures.  I love having pictures of fun memories like this.  It was beautiful on that river.  The water was freezing, so I tried to stay off the water, but got wet a few different times, mostly by you teasing me and splashing me a little.  :)  It was a beautiful day, so we dried off and warmed up pretty well.  The entire float time was about 3
hours.  It was the perfect amount of time.  It was so peaceful!  We were among the mountains the entire time, and sometimes the river had a little more current, so you had to pay attention to where you were being taken.  Most of the time if was just slow and peaceful and we could just float.  You and I stayed together almost the entire time.  We would just hang on to each other or the tubes.  It was such a fun day.  I just loved being with you, and my friends and my sister.  After the river, we went to Seven Peaks with Bristol and her roommate, Whitney.  We all got season passes for $20 and it
gets us into a LOT of things.  We only stayed for about 2 hours maybe.  Then, we took Bristol and Whitney to Wallaby's for some yummy BBQ dinner.  It really was a great day of fun!  I am glad we got to spend so much quality time together.  I love you!
