The Westerner...

August 23, 2013...My cute friend, Hollie Willis, turned 40 today.  All she wanted to do was go dancing for her birthday.  I set her up with one of my other friends, Mark Robbins, and then Kristina and

Mike came along with Ted and Steph.  We went to dinner at Sweet Tomato and then we all headed over to the Westerner!  The Westerner is a bar up in Salt Lake.  Mark is a country dance instructor and so we all got on the floor and just danced our little hearts out.  I wasn’t sure how everyone would do, or how much they would like it.  Well…let’s just say that everyone had so much fun, we are going to start doing dance lessons with Mark at his dance club every month, if we can.  We had SOOOO much fun!  We both picked up on things really quickly and we just danced like crazy.  You was so cute!  You would get out there and try so hard.  We really did have so much fun!  Each couple was out there laughing and learning and laughing more. We all just danced all night long.   We made lots of mistakes and would just stand there cracking up.  You almost twirled me to the floor a couple times because you didn’t catch me when you spun me.  It was sooooo much fun!  I have done a lot of fun things in my life and have had so much fun with you,

but this was towards the top of my list so far.  We just had a blast being there.  It was a bar, and there are a lot of people that go for the drinking.  Mark said that if we felt uncomfortable, we would just leave, but as long as we were in a group, it would just be fun!  We all had fun, and it was just so crazy how much fun it was…if you can’t tell by how many times I’ve said it was fun!  Anyway…they also had an electric bull that we rode as well.  It was free to ride, and we just laughed while riding it too.  Such a great night!  We all felt like it was the best group to go with as well.  We all enjoyed our company and every single one of us wanted to go dancing again with Mark.  He is dang good and you told me you wanted to get as good as Mark is.  That made me so happy, because I’ve always wanted a guy that can dance.  I am so excited that you enjoyed yourself.   We have talked about dancing lessons, so I hope we can take lots of different kinds of dance lessons!  So…fun!!!!!
