June 21, 2013...Donut Falls is such a great hike that you can do in a short period of time. I had only been there with you when it was frozen. I really wanted to go back with you when I could see the falls
just running off those rocks. It was absolutely beautiful...like most of the other hikes we do! We are kind of easily pleased. We love being out in nature, and it is just nice to breathe the fresh air, and be in nature. It's nice not being around people all the time. It is so peaceful up there! We really enjoyed walking, hold hands, talking and just spending time together. We found a heart carved in a tree. We sat at the bottom of the falls for a bit. We climbed up the rocks and got to the top of the falls. The water was so cold and wet. The waterfall was strong, when
we were next to it, we just kept getting wet. I just love all of the hikes we go on!
